I am interested in making visible that which exists but cannot be seen. My sculptures are momentary manifestations of thoughts and emotions. They are made, photographed and destroyed, like a thought that enters your head and then leaves again without a trace. The photographs are the only proof left that they were ever there. My work is concerned with ideas about existence, fragility, protection and hiding. When is the shell we live inside a protector and when is it a prison? I am highlighting this fragile balance that can otherwise only be thought about.
